History of BETA
BETA Food Industry and Trade INC., founded on 1978, entered the tea arena in 1987, and has since achieved an important position in International Tea Trade with its far sighted vision and progressive investments in the Commonwealth of Independent States since in 1994. BETA Food Industry and Trade INC. headquarters are based in Adana, the home town of our origin. Our aim is to meet every customer requirement in a timely and an effective manner of the highest standard. Our first factory in Turkey is built on 2943 m2 in Mersin Free Zone and has packaging capacity of 1000 tons/month, today. Sales Co-ordination Headquarters of BETA Food Industry and Trade INC. based in the commercial capital Istanbul, offers the deeply rooted Turkish tea culture a wide range of brands to choose from, such as BETA, CHAMPION, BAYCE and HOWDAH.BETA Food Industry and Trade INC. has established fully owned subsidiary offices wholesale & retail outlets supported by packaging factories in Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia. We also have our own purchasing and quality control offices manned by highly experienced personal in Sri Lanka & India. BETA's Objectives
BETA is the first international tea brand to target Central Asia. In the Turkish Republic, where it has established a leadership position in the tea market, BETA is continuously improving on an already successful sales performance thanks to its extensive and powerful distribution network. The company's success is corroborated by a string of international awards.While continuing to launch into new markets, notably the Middle East, European countries and China, BETA is also strengthening its ventures in the Turkish market.
BETA Investments
By virtue of its powerful marketing investments, BETA Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. continues to expand, particularly in the Turkish Republic and Russia. The addition of new tea varieties towards the end of the 1990s significantly increased the production and distribution capacity of BETA companies.The Beta Group has authorized distributors in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Russia. Through these distributors the group has factories which exclusively package Beta brands, in addition to a further packaging factory in the Mersin Free Zone. BETA Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. also operates in India and Sri Lanka through authorized distributors.
